Major Ice Storm!

We've been hit with a major ice storm yesterday and today....this photo was taken only a couple of hours into the storm. We ended up getting about 2" of ice EVERYWHERE! We lost our power for 8 hrs, and we were pretty cold!

We canceled church on Sunday, and we are waiting for another round of freezing rain headed this way tonight. Many trees are down, and everything looks like a skating rink!

We had lots of thunder and lightening while freezing rain, (which I don't think I've ever heard before!)

Brrrrrrrrr.....how many days til Spring?
